He's the Worst

Beware, the Headless Horseman has been seen on the trail! Created as a master study in color harmony and equine anatomy, this night scene depicts the legendary Headless Horseman. The piece utilizes a deliberate underpainting and toning process, allowing controlled peek-throughs of the base color to unify the final composition with a shared underlying ultramarine blue hue. Complementing this atmospheric unity is a focused study on horse musculature, rendering a powerful, larger-than-life beast fit for its ghostly night rider.
